On Saturday 27 February 2021, Neptune Food & Wine is hosting Ode to Rosé, a pop-up cellar door party to celebrate some of the finest rosé producers from Victoria, South Australia, NSW, South Africa, and France.

Sample drops from nine wineries, get up close and personal with the professionals, and enjoy rosé-paired savoury snacks curated by Head Chef Petrus Nordlund.

Dinner and Sex (conversations) with Chantelle Otten. A night to kick back, and be surrounded by like-minded individuals while sipping wine and enjoying Neptune’s cuisine.

Australians have a multicultural society, and for this reason, our sex education is a little ‘all over the shop’. For some, we learn from our cultural backgrounds, religion, friends and family. For most, we receive limited sex-education in school, which usually teaches us about pregnancy and STI prevention, and fails to teach us about pleasure, especially female pleasure, and consent.

This dinner is here to NORMALISE sexuality, pleasure and communication around sex. And Chantelle will give you the honest, scientifically-backed, real version of sexuality and what it is about.

She will be sitting and eating with you and will provide a presentation about modern-day sexuality and sexual self-esteem during dinner, plus answering a Q&A (questions can be submitted when purchasing tickets). So, please think… what would you like to ask a sexologist?

Recreating a selection of Julia’s personal Ostro favourites, she’ll be sharing the origins of her soulful food philosophy – one that sees simple ingredients shine.

And while her beloved home-style recipes will dominate the menu, guests will also be treated to some exclusive Neptune creations, drawing inspiration from Julia’s approachable cuisine and penchant for all-things seasonal.
